So sorry to hear of Johns passing....he was such an inspiration to Troy and i, coming from the city, the Cotton family, especially John... taught us that hard work was good for the soul...it has been many years since Troy was a newly ordained minister out in Benito and Kenville and we enjoyed many meals and historical coversations about the land we were sent to...many wonderful memories at their farm...prayers to all!

Sincere condolences to John's family. I grew up with seeing John at Thunder Hill and he would always say hi and engage in conversation, even though we didn't know each other well. He was always such a kind and gentle man. I was always impressed that he skied into his golden years and stayed so active in the community. It was nice knowing you John.

Our most heartfelt condolences on your loss. He was a truly good man. The times we spent with him are treasured memories. And, even though they were only 7 and 4, our daughter Victoria and son Adam still remember fondly the time they spent with him while attending the Cotton Reunion. My mother Kathleen and John conversed quite often by phone over the past decade or so: she will truly miss that.
