Emily Rogalski
March 30, 1926 ~ July 18, 2015 (age 89) 89 Years OldEmily Rogalski passed away on Saturday July 18th, 2015 at the Benito Health Centre at the age of 89 years. Emily was born on March 30th, 1926 in Arran, Saskatchewan. She was one of four children born to Metro and Mary Hataley.
Emily met Steve, the love of her life and they were married on May 27th, 1947 in Arran, Saskatchewan.
They settled on a farm southwest of Durban, Manitoba, where they raised two daughters and four sons. Emily worded hard on the farm but managed to find the time for gardening, sewing, fishing and camping. She always had doughnuts on hand for the grand kids. She was a great Cook!
In 1975 Steve and Emily retired to their new home in Benito and lived there till his passing. In 2003 Emily moved into Thunderhill Court, where she enjoyed her quiet place. After an illness, Emily became a resident of the Benito Health Centre.
Emily leaves to mourn her passing, her Daughter Marcella (Orest); sons Larry (Carrie), David (Pat), Jerry (Barb) and Ken (Angy); her loving grandchildren; great-grandchildren and by one great-great-granddaughter; as well she will be remembered by her sister Olga; brother Eugene (Betty); sister-in-law Anne and Emily Rogalski; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Emily was predeceased by her husband Steve in 2002; daughter Judi in 2013; her parents Mary in 1999, father Metro in 1963 and by her brother John in 1996.
