Bertha Mabel Latimer

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bertha Latimer (nee Demoline) announces her peaceful passing at the Swan Valley Lodge on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at the age of 94.

Bertha was born December 19, 1920 to James and Mabel Demoline, and was the youngest of their five children. She married Orrin Bruce Latimer in 1941, and together they welcomed their only son William (Bill) in 1945. Bertha spent her entire life in the Swan River   Valley; with both the Demoline and Latimer families considered to be early pioneers of the area.

Bertha Latimer is survived by her daughter-in-law Tanis and granddaughter Nicole, numerous extended family members, and friends throughout the community.    

Bertha was predeceased by her husband Bruce; parents James and Mabel; brothers Edward, Melvin and Frank; sister Florence, and son William (Bill).
