Desmond Percy Paul "Chop" was born November 9th, 1962. He was 60 years old when he passed away on November 26th, 2022. He grew up in Swan River, Manitoba, born and raised to the late Stanley Cote and Patricia Paul.
Chop went to school in Swan River, Manitoba. As he got older he learned to play guitar, sing  and would often play and have jam sessions with his brothers. He enjoyed spending time with family and being around those he loved. For many years he worked in the bush for McCullough Logging. He liked to go hunting with friends. During his later years, Chop liked to wood-work. He was working on making a standing lamp and a treefort for his grandbabies Acacia and Cassius.
Chop leaves to mourn his long time partner, Sunday daughters Charnele and Shawna (Jonathan) Sons, Desmond (Jr.) and Darcy. Sadly his daughter Crystal had passed away last year. Chop has 6 grandbabies. Isaac, Brooklyn, Cassius, Acacia, Lucas and George.
He leaves his brothers, Adolph "Big man" Paul, (Evelyn Genaille) Kenny Paul, sisters Bev Clearsky (late Wallace Clearsky), Karen Bier and Sharon Paul.Chop is predeceased by his brothers Stanley Paul and Quinton Paul. He leaves to mourn numerous neices and nephews and many friends.
