It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jenson (Stanley) Genaille. Grandpa-dad (father), brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend Jenson passed away on Sunday, September 2nd, 2018 at St Paul’s Care Home in Dauphin, Manitoba.
Jenson was born and raised in Duck Bay with his loving parents Louie and Nora Genaille and his twelve siblings. He later lived with his long-time common law wife Rose chief, together they raised their grandson Donny Woitowicz along with great-grandchildren Lisa-dawn, Austin, Delta and Riley.
Jenson later lived with his sister Elizabeth who took care of him for many years. A special thanks for all her loving care to our brother.
Jenson was a strong hard-working man. He worked as a pulp cutter, carpenter, fisherman, trapper and hunter. He spent his summers in Kettle Hills picking blue berries with his family. Jenson enjoyed playing cards, going for walks, dancing, visiting, laughing, joking and much more.
He leaves to mourn his grandson Donny, who was like a son to him; grandchildren Lisa-Dawn, Austin, Delta and Riley; brothers Henry (Sharon), Breno (Kathy), Louie (Jeanie) and John; sisters Bertha, Elizabeth, Gloria and Pauline and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends, too many to numerous to mention.
Jenson was predeceased by his parents Louie and Nora Genaille; common law wife Rose Chief; brother Morris; sisters Mary, Myrtle and Stella; nephews Steven and Ron and great-grandchild Savannah.
Jenson will always be loved and cherished and will remain in our hearts forever. We love you.
