Suddenly on February 3, 2018 at the Brandon General hospital. Lena passed on to the spirit world to be with her son Wayne, her parents Elizabeth and Zachary, her brother Nelson, her niece Wendy and her nephew Randyman.
Lena loved spending her time with her husband Gordon whom she was married to for 54 beautiful years.

Then moving north with her family for her husband who worked in the mines residing in Leaf Rapids, then Thompson, Flin Flon and back to Thompson. Where dad Gordon retired which brought them back to Pine Creek First Nation where they resided till her passing.

Her and her husband practically lived at the arena, being the happiest hockey parents for Jabber. She also enjoyed playing bingo with her parents, her husband and friends & family. Lena loved making fresh bread and bannock for her kids and grandchildren. Lena always had a big smile on her face and always had a helping hand.
Lena had a strong faith in her traditional and Catholic teachings. She would say her prayers with her beads every morning and night with her husband. Lena also made sure she spent quality time with her great grandchildren.
