January 29, 1946 ~ October 4, 2017 (age 71) 71 Years OldLawrence “Larry” Wayne Urmin of Benito, Manitoba passed away at the Swan River Valley Health Centre on October 4th, 2017 at the age of 71 years.
Larry was born in Canora, Saskatchewan on January 29th, 1946 to Paul and Pauline Urmin. He received his education in Benito, Manitoba.
During his live, he lived in Danbury Saskatchewan from 1946-1952 and then in Benito, Manitoba until the time of his passing.
He was the post master at the Benito Post office for 35 years, until he retired in 2002.
Larry’s hobbies included being a Saskatchewan Roughrider Fan; collecting stamps, golf, woodworking and curling.
Larry is survived by his sister Elizabeth Gavin and nephew Robert Gavin.
Larry was predeceased by his parents Paul and Pauline Urmin; brother-in-law William Gavin and Nephew Thomas Gavin.
