Ernest Henry Behrmann

Ernest Henry Behrmann of Swan River, Manitoba passed away at the Swan Valley Health Centre, on January 3rd, 2018 at the age of 59 years.

Ernie was born in Swan River on May 13th, 1958 to Henry and Amelia Behrmann. He received his education at the Big Woody School and Swan River Schools.

Ernie was a war history bluff, he enjoyed his quading derby's and Timberland Socializing.

During his life, Ernie worked in Alberta; on the family farm, then went into owning his own trucking company, when he sold that, he went to work at    Kooistra Trucking. After that he worked at Inter Mountain Logging and then for Sauder Trucking.

Ernie is survived by his partner Violet McDuff; sisters Doreen (Dennis) Willey and Audrey (Ken) Hrappstead; sons Clayton (Samantha) Behrmann and Darryl (Kimberly) Behrmann; Step daughter Marnie Waddell; two grandchildren Lucas and Chandler, and many nieces and nephews.

Ernie was predeceased by his sisters Gayleen Hrappstead and Alvera Gillies and parents Henry and Amelia (Milly) Behrmann.

His Journey Just Begun

Don't think of him as gone away
his journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much.
