It is with great sadness, we announce the sudden and tragic passing of out beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, auntie, niece and cousin Amanda Lorraine Genaille.

She is survived by her husband Eric James Genaille; daughters Sharon (Robert) and Jasmine (Lance) Hersons; Hayden and Jared; brothers Wayne, Giles, Troy, Kevin and Mitchell; sisters Lisa, Joy, Benetta and Brittany; fathers Wilfred Quill and Gilbert Barker; grandchildren Ameliah, Summer, Tori, Ashley, Arya and Allan; grandmother Nancy Quill, and by numerous family.

Amanda Lorraine was born on October 25th, 1976 to her mother Lorraine Susan Barker and father Wilfred “Wildbill” Quill in Swan River, Manitoba. In her early years she resided in Barrows, Manitoba, as well as Baden. She would be often helping her family pick blueberries, sweetgrass and tea leaves as she was the eldest child (on both sides). Amanda grew up into a beautiful woman and had her three girls. When she met her husband Eric James Genaille, who she later married on

October 9th, 1999 at the age of 23 years. As the years went on with her husband and three daughters she took in her boys and was also gifted with six grandchildren whom she loved very much. Amanda was a very outgoing person and was loved by many. She also loved travelling and visited around and being with her grandchildren. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Amanda was predeceased by Lorraine Barker, Brisine, Sharon Cook, Samantha Cook and Gilbert Barker Jr.
