Bob passed away peacefully at home with loved ones at his side.
Bob was a thoughtful, generous and quiet soul. He was a storyteller, traveller, bargain hunter, dog lover and barbecue king. Bob was a proud member of the “Million Miler Trucker Club”.
He is greatly loved and sadly missed by his wife Sandy, his family and friends.
Bob will be laid to rest in his hometown Bowsman, Manitoba.
Robert (bob) Lloyd Schooley of Whitehorse, Yukon, passed away at home on September 20, 2020 at the age of 76 years.
Bob was born in Birch River on June 7th, 1944 to Grace and Herb Schooley. He received his education in Bowsman.
During his life Bob lived in BC, then moved to Thompson, MB and finally ended up in the Yukon with his partner Sandra Daciuk. They resided there for many years until the time of his passing.
Bob’s interests included hunting, and fishing, as well as social gatherings with friends.
Bob leaves to mourn: his partner Sandra; sons Lance and Lee; sisters Mary Elizabeth (Beth), Joyce Womack and Shirley Lauze; three grandchildren and by his niece Sharon Hutman, who was raised as a sister to him.
Bob was predeceased by: his parents; brother Frank Schooley; sister Jean Ricereto; brother Fred Schooley; brother Clifton Schooley and brother Harold Schooley.
