Brisine Leask Obituary

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of my wife, our mom, sister, auntie, kookum, friends and cousin Brisine Leask nee Campeau. Brisine was born on February 4, 1952 to Betsy and John Campeau, she left us suddenly on Thursday October 14, 2021 at the Swan River Valley Hospital. She was only 69 years old. Brisine lived life to the fullest, she always had a smile and her contagious laugh that everyone knew. Brisine loved to knit, she also loved to spend time with her friends/sisters playing poker bingo and playing slots. Brisine enjoyed visiting around. She was a supportive person when there was a loss in the community, as a honorary guard. Brisine enjoyed the company of her nieces and nephews, her grandchildren, she loved them very much and helped raise her sisters kids. Brisine was also a homemaker for numerous years. Brisine and Alex were united in marriage on November 14, 1975 and together they were blessed with 5 children Freda (Thunder), Pheonix (Leah), Willie (Amanda), Vivian (Leon) and Clarence (Precious), as well as 29 grandchildren and two on the way. Her grandson Spencer was a big part of their lives, she loved him and spent a lot of time with him.
