Ken married Betty Bell on December 6th, 1986. Together they made trips out west to visit family. He enjoyed the outdoors and always cut and split his own firewood. He told many stories of his adventures in hunting Moose and Deer. Picking berries was another enjoyment in his life. You would also find him picking bottles and cans along many roads with his trusty old 1998 Ford Truck to which he accumulated 405,000 KM. He led a quiet life and enjoyed the company of his two cats.

On December 16th, 2017 Kenneth suffered a stroke and passed away peacefully at the Swan River Valley Health Centre in Swan River on December 28th, 2017 with family by his side.
