Esther Ida Munson of the Benito Health Centre passed away on April 29th, 2018 at the age of 97 years.
Esther was born on the farm, West of Arran, Saskatchewan on December 2nd, 1920 to George and Ida Bush. She received her education in the Osin Country School.
On June 1st, 1941, Esther married Willis Hubert Munson, they enjoyed many years together. Sadly Willis passed away on October 2nd, 2007.
During Esther life, she lived north of Benito, in Benito and Swan River. She enjoyed gardening and bingo.
Esther will be sadly missed by her son Richard (Vivian) of Churchbridge, Saskatchewan and their family Gerratt (Bonnie) Munson, Nicholas, Wyatt, Walker and Bailey; Jason (Shannon) Munson, Hunter, Hannah Paighton; Tavin (Pam) Munson, Tyler and Serrena Danielle; Trevor (Sarah) Munson, Austin Colton; daughter Sharon Wayne of Red Deer, Alberta, and their family, Kari-Lynn (Brian Becka) Wayne, David Wayne, Brandon, Nolan, Narasha, Abigail; daughter Verna (Henry) Wiens, of Calgary, Alberta, and their family Wendy (Bonnie), Glenda (Mark) Nassie, Matteo, Milena, Heather (Dan) Falcone, Noah, and Aidan; daughter Brenda (Ed) Popoff, of Benito, Manitoba and their family Alex (Stephie) Hadiken, Jory, Jonah, and Jared, Kim (Joey Bilow) Hadiken, Leanne (Jake) Englot, Brooklynn, Ryelyn Vermerran and Kass Englot; daughter Lynda (Don) McNaughton of Oak Bank, Manitoba, and their family, Alynn (Glen) Jones, Anita Rod (Cowie), Jenna, and Austin Branden. Esther also leaves a son-in-law, Dave West of Winnipeg, and Kelly (Amber) West.
Esther was predeceased by her parents, George Bush (1969) and mother Ida Bush (1936), two daughters, Ida Marie in infancy (1946), and Jacquie West (2000); two granddaughters in infancy, Christine and Cathleen Munson (1967); one great-grandson in infancy, Luke Englot (1994); her brother George (1984) and by her sister Annie (Ed) Wills (2004).
