Elise Lorraine Bartram
October 10, 1914 ~ September 14, 2017 (age 102) 102 Years OldElise Lorraine Bartram passed away peacefully at the age of 102 in Sunridge Place, Duncan, BC on September 14, 2017.
She was born to James and Phoebe Simon in Toronto on October 10, 1914.She had enjoyed a full life as a teacher for 14 years in Toronto until she married the love of her life, Ernie Bartram in 1949. She became a minister’s wife in 1959 with their first church in Loon Lake, Saskatchewan. After his passing she stayed in Swan River, Manitoba until moving to British Columbia in 1997. She will be remembered for her caring, loving spirit and her love for Jesus Christ.
Elise was predeceased by her parents and brothers and sisters. Her husband Ernest Charles Bartram passed away in 1977 and her son John Charles Bartram in 2015.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lorraine (Allan) Sherman and grandchildren Sean (Karen) Sherman, Heather Sherman, Tara (Kelan) Collins, Travis (Danielle) Sherman and Michael (Erin) Sherman, also her 11 great grandchildren.
