Angela Ann Florence Brass

Angela left us to be with her mother Lena and brother Wayne in heaven on September 5, 2018.

Angela liked to live life hard because that’s how it is for some. Angela loved taking part in her culture, she spoke in saulteaux with her parents all the time. She loved spending time in her mom’s kitchen making all kinds of recipe’s and her favourite lemon meringue pie. She enjoyed reading chapter series and watching mystery shows. Spending time with her grandchildren Carly and Randyn was exciting for her. Her favourite past time was being out at the lake or relaxing around the fire. Most of her adult life was spent with her ex-Wayne Caldwell, whom she had a son with, Ryan Brass.

Angela is predeceased by her grandfather Zachary Contois; grandmothers Elizabeth Contois and Nelly Brass; mother Lena Brass; brother Wayne Brass; uncle Nelson Contois and her cousins Wendy and Randy Contois.

Angela leaves to mourn her father Gordon; little sister Audrey; little brother Gordie Jr.; daughter Rachel (Cameron); sons Konr (Rebecca) and Ryan; grandchildren Carly and Randyn; nephews Wayne (Danielle), Gordie Jr., Tommy (Mykaela), Lindon and her one and only niece Rachelle.

I'm Free

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I head Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I’ve now found peace at the end of day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things, I too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
Look for the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and peace to thee,
God wanted me now-He set me free.
