Fraser Chartrand Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved brother Fraser Xavier Alfred Chartrand, Age 21 of Dauphin, MB, formerly of Duck Bay, Manitoba.

Fraser was predeceased by his loving mother Frances Jane Zong on December 13th, 2014 and by his brother Freeman Thomas Gustave Zong on July 14th, 2016.

Fraser is survived by his father Franklin Bert Chartrand; brothers Franklin Jr. (Ernestina) Frank, Frederick (Diane), Fritz (Stevie Rae), and Jimpaul; sisters Frieda, Francine (Sheldon), and Francesca; son Deron McKay; nieces Serenity, Mary Jane, Hailey Jane, Dilima, Passion, Shellena, Alexis, Alaya and Frankie; nephews Junoir, Waylon, Daneil, Rownin, Zeus, Costello, Kashton, Luigi and Fritz Jr., as well as numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Fraser was known to have a big heart he always lent an helping hand when needed, he loved spending time with his family. Fraser was one of a kind he had character and he had a way of communicating with his loved ones, always on the topic of family unity, as a young boy he grew up in Duck Bay where he loved hunting, family time and outings especially the rodeo he attended yearly with his late uncle Tommy, Fraser was always grateful for the people who looked out for him, including his parents and siblings also the ones who helped raised him in Duck Bay. His friends that he gave loyalty to as he was a true friend to his brotherhood. Many will miss Fraser dearly, his   presence alone filled a room with laughter and joy, where ever he may have went in his daily routines. We kindly share our appreciation for those who have the family in their thoughts and prayers during this time of loss and great sorrow.

Now we lay you down to rest, wherever it is maybe we wish you all the best. We looked out for one another like you were our only   brother. We seen time pass, not knowing all the good times we had wouldn’t last.

If only you would of heard the words I had to say maybe you would be with us for another day. We shared a bond that no one can ever break, I wish this was all a dream I really wish this was fake. I cried   myself to sleep, I didn’t get to tell you my love for you was really deep, you ended your pain. You ended your fear. I hope to see you in the clouds above. I hope you can hear our words of love.

Now rest easy and fly high we shall meet again brother but for now all I have left to say is goodbye.
