Cremation

Cremation is as old as history, but it is also as modern as today.  Cremation is an alternative to earth burial.  It is a step in the preparation of human remains for final rest that utilizes intense heat to return the body to its natural components.

The reasons people choose cremation are as varied as the individuals selecting it.  Some do so based on environmental considerations while others have philosophical or religious reasons.  For people who consider traditional burial to be unappealing, cremation may provide a more acceptable alternative.  Still others choose cremation because they feel it is simpler and less complicated.

Cremation is not a type of funeral service and you will still be able to honor your loved one through a traditional or non-traditional service of remembrance.  Our Funeral Ark helps bridge the gap between cremation and a traditional service. This urn carrier allows for family and friends to serve as bearers when going from the funeral home to a church or cemetery.

Cremation provides many options for the final resting place of your loved one.  It allows you to choose one option or a combination of options from keeping them in an urn at home to placement in an urn garden, a columbarium niche, a family plot in a cemetery, or a scattering garden.

Through Heritage Memorial Gardens, Paull Funeral Home offers cremation services locally in Swan River.  As a locally operated crematorium we are able to provide you with convenient access to cremation services without the cost of out-of-town transportation fees.  By operating our own facility we are able to ensure our standards of dignity, integrity and quality control are maintained through every step of the process.
