In loving memory of, our dear brother and dad, William John Genaille, “Crazy Nug”.

William was born on December 25th, 1947 and passed away on July 7th, 2015 at the age of 67 years.

Nug worked most of his life in Durban Rhiel’s Camp up to 1982. He quit his job there after he got into a train accident. Our brother, dad went totally blind and went to live at the Swan Valley Lodge, where he had family and grandchildren to come visit him. He was the happiest then. He liked the visits from his brother Dominica and sister-in-law Florence whom he loved so much. He also enjoyed his late son’s Albert John’s visits. Nug we will miss you so much but you are forever in our hearts. You are now with: mom and dad; you’re baby Albert John; Ekosi our brother; dad; uncle and grandpa. Friend until we meet again, we all loved you.

Nug is survived by: his wife Helen; son Edward; daughter Cheryl (Delbert); brothers Dominic (Florence) and Marcel (Doreen); sisters Marcella, and Bernice (Russell); grandchildren Grant, Brendan, Edward Jr., Allison, Dillion, Curtis, Carolyn, Tila, and William (Lemon John); nieces Tanya, Loni, Misty, Brianna and Brittany; Nephews Tyson, Tyler, Ozzy, Tyrel, Robert and Bradley; aunties Vitaline (Rodrick), Irene Chartrand, Mary Genaille, Helen Stevens and by many more relatives to many to mention.

Nug was predeceased by his son Albert John; parents Joe and Blennie Genaille; three sisters; two brothers; uncles Victor Genaille, Albert Genaille, Michael and Gilbert Chartrand and Rene and Richard Cook; aunties Pauline Stevens, Ethel Beauchamp, Sara Genaille, Martha Chartrand, Cecilia Guiboche, Christina Moore, Louisa Zastre, Ida Stevens, Albina Cook, Clara Cook, Evelyn Simpson, and Maria Audy; grandparents Caroline Cook, and Angus Cook; and by his best friends Alan Kematch and William Campeau.
