Wilfred Murray Ross

Wilfred Murray Ross of Kenville, Manitoba, passed away in Swan River on June 15th, 2015 at the age of 60 years.

Wilfred was born in Swan River on December 31st, 1954 to Mildred and Kenneth Ross. He received his education in Swan River as well as the University of Alberta.

On April 24th, 1993, Wilfred married Sussan Beverley Ross (nee Nikkel) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, in Swan River.

During his life, Wilfred lived in Swan River all his life, except the eight years that he was in Edmonton, where he got his teaching degree with a minor in art, he farmed with his dad until his decision to go to university. After university he worked with different departments of Natural Resources and more recently with Mental Health as a proctor 3.

Wilfred enjoyed painting, reading, fishing and the outdoors.

Wilfred is survived by his wife Sussan; son Maxwell; daughter Johanna; brothers David (Grace), Lorne (Susan) and Allan.

He was predeceased by his parents.

A funeral service was held from Solid Rock Church is Swan River, Manitoba on June 19th, 2015 with Pastor Ray Hart officiating.

Active pallbearers were Vern Bauman, Ekhart Rhinsdorf, Josh Rhinsdorf, Tim Mueller, Tim Wagar and Steve Windsor.

Honorary pallbearers were Vern Jentzsch, Rollie Culleton and Matt Milroy.
