Sabrina Brass

Sabrina Janet Brass of Swan River, Manitoba passed away on November 27th, 2016 at the age of 33 years.

Sabrina was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on May 27th, 1983 to Mary Jane Cook and Raymond Genaille. She received her education in Rossbrook House in Winnipeg.

During Sabrina’s life, she lived in Winnipeg, with her mother Mary Jane and step-father Paul Genaille, where she married      David Matwayashing and has three boys. After her and David    divorced, she met her love, Travis Collee, they together moved to Swan River. She had her children in Swan River and loved them very much. She loved her family very much and she always made friends easily.

Sabrina loved to read and write and spend time with her family. She was a free spirit and was a pow wow dancer when she was young.

Sabrina is survived by her mother Mary Jane Cook; father Raymond Genaille; step-father Paul Genaille; sons Darrin Brass, David Jr. Matwayashing, and Drayden Matwayashing; daughters Araya Collee and Mary Jane Head; sisters Darlene Guiboche (Charlie), Mavis Brass (Richard), Katey Genaille, Anna Lee Genaille and Ramona Genaille; brothers Wilfred Genaille and Raymond Genaille; nephews Richard Brass, Gilbert Brass, Christopher Guiboche and Ryan Guiboche; nieces Amisty Scott, Marisa Scott, Charlene Guiboche, Chantal Guiboche, Wednesday Collee and Charlie Collee; auntis Helen Genaille; uncle Ronald Cook; uncles Percy Genaille; as well as family who we have missed mentioning.

She was predeceased by her love Travis Collee; sister Eileen Brass; grandmother Julia Cook; niece Priscilla Guiboche; auntie Joshpine Chartier and cousins Darcy Mink, Darren Mink and Albert Genaille.
