In Loving Memory of

Raymond Thompson

Beloved husband of Courtney Thompson

Beloved father of Tristin, Jasmine, Jessica and Raelene

Sadly, on November 23rd, 2015 at 6:00 PM, we lost our beloved husband, son and father, Raymond Thomspon.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife Courtney; his four daughters Raelene, Jessica, Jasmine and Tristan; his parents Beverly and Bruce Thompson; sister Jeannie Thompson and two brother Bruce Jr. “Sandy” and Jerome; his aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews; cousins mother and by his father-in-law Brent and Shannon Anderson.

Raymond was predeceased by his grandparents Raymond and Martha Thompson and Henry and Joyce Simpson; his aunt Esterine Sutherland and five uncles Leo, henry, Leon, Wallace and Gerald.

Raymond was born on December 3rd, 1981 in Winnipeg, MB. That was his first and only plane ride as Bev was flown from Thompson to Winnipeg to deliver her baby boy. Raymond moved with his family from Thompson to Winnipeg at the age of five years, so they could be close to Grandma Simpson whose heath was failing. In 1992 Raymond’s family moved once again to Minitonas to be near Grandpa Simpson who was living in Camperville. In 1996 Bev and Bruce moved the children to Swan River where Raymond finished his schooling and live with his parents until he married Lisa Matychuk, the mother of his four daughters. At this time he moved to Kenville to raise their family. On September 14th, 2013 Raymond married Courtney Anderson and they made their home in Kenville. Raymond and Courtney were very happy during their two years of marriage. They loved each other deeply and were looking forward to growing old together.

Raymond was a kind, loving father to his girls. He loved to tease them and had a nickname for each one. He called Tristan “Scrappy-do”, he called Raelene “Little Ray” of “Little Boss”, he called Jasmine “Poo-Poo” and Jessica “Little Brat”.

Over his working years, he worked for Kotyk’s Lumber, JB Construction and for the last two years for his father-in-law.

Raymond loved his family, he loved his friends, and he loved animals, to the point where he frequently brought strays home with him. He was always on the “go”, either working or hunting or spending time with family and friends.

He will be deeply missed everyday by each one of us for the rest of our lives.

Never allow yourself to feel guilty

For missing someone.

It’s just your Heart

Reminding you how much

You Love Them
