Margaret Rose Stevens of Dawson Bay, passed away on

December 5th, 2016 at the age of 72 years.

 

Margaret was born in Birch River on September 26th, 1944 to Joe and Hazel Stevens. She received her education at the Pelican

Rapids School.

 

During Margaret’s live she grew up in Shoal River, then moved to Red Deer when Rhonda was born. She met and fell in love with Doug Parker and moved to Dawson Bay in 1989, where she lived happily until the time of her passing.

 

Hobbies for Margaret included making rugs, blankets and birch bark baskets, as well as she loved her bingo and cards.

 

Margaret is survived by her daughters Rhonda (John), Carla, Tara and Marlene; sisters Irene, Donna (Andy), Beatrice and Barbara; brothers Clayton and Mervin (Tina); common law Doug Parker; grandson she raised Alan Michael; 13 grandchildren Roxanne, Curtis, Adam, Rylee, Melanie, Calvin, Vernon, Amber, Ryle, Erin, Emma and Markus and by 4 great-grandchildren Taylor, Richard, Sharissa and Zackery; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

 

Margaret was predeceased by her father Joseph Stevens; mother Hazel Sinclair; brother William Stevens; sister Beverly; niece Sharon Genaille; granddaughter Chelsea Genaille, grandson      Joseph Cook and brother-in-law Paul Genaille.
