Leonard Sidney Readman
September 28, 1947 ~ August 28, 2017 (age 69) 69 Years OldLeonard Sidney Readman of Swan River passed away in the Swan River Valley Health Centre on August 28, 2017 at the age of 69 years.
Leonard was born in the Swan Valley Hospital on September 28th, 1947 to Hazel and Sidney Readman. He received his education at the Fisher Siding School in Renver and as well as Minitonas School.
Leonard married Ilene Margaret King of Swan River on October 7th, 1978.
During his life, Leonard worked at the Thompson Inco Mine; the potash mine in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan and the Co-op Creamery. Leonard had many life skills, from being self employed to working for Stankewich and Hunts Painting.
Leonard’s hobbies were hunting and fishing, going camping, shooting guns and skeet shooting, carpentry, building furniture and abstract painting.
Leonard is survived by his wife Maggie; daughters Joyce (Mark) of Bowsman and Theresa (Bruce) of Medicine Hat, AB; grandchildren Taylor and Wyatt; brother Ed (Barb) Readman of Tuelon, MB; sister Margaret Haas of Swan River; as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
Leonard was predeceased by his parents Hazel and Sidney Redman; Grace Evelan Readman; Darrell Haas and by Harled and Jordy Baron (uncle).
