Donald Maurice Woodley
July 29, 1946 ~ February 16, 2017 (age 70) 70 Years OldDon Woodley was born to Percy and Irene Woodley on July 29th, 1949. His siblings were Beatrice and George.
Don grew up on the farm, he met Susan in the summer of 1964 and were married on the 18th of March 1967. They had two sons Cam and Garrett. Garrett married Michelle and had two sons Jackson and Kurtis. Cam is working for LP and Garrett and family are in Lampman, Saskatchewan on the Oil Rigs.
Don worked at the Valley Abattoir for 48 years cutting meat. Jonney Johnson was the first proprietor there. Now it is Valley Meats with Herminn Muller and family. Donald loved to make sausages for people and loved fishing and camping.
Don’s first love was farming. He Had about 70 cows. Calving was a joy. He lived on the farm until his illness with his wife Susan.
Don looked forward each summer for Dave, Sharon and girls coming with their trailer and tents to spend the long weekend in September with them. Jim and Jinny also came from Fort MacMurray, Alberta and spent summer holidays on the farm with them.
Don loved it when family and friends came and played cards or games on the long cold winter nights.
Don is survived by his wife Susan; sons Cameron and Garrett and families; as well as by his siblings Beatrice (Cliff) Cryderman and George (Vivian) Woodley and their families.
